The Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center was the vision of a few group and community pioneers in Midland and Odessa. In 2006 that vision was acknowledged when Texas Legislation was approved for the development of a performing expressions office and music division for The University of Texas of the Permian Basin. The objectives were straightforward yet significant: to accomplish astounding acoustics, offer upgraded theater frameworks, and enhance social and instructive open doors for the locale. Development started on the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center in March of 2009 and was finished in the fall of 2011.
